RCA Open exhibition 2026

I was lucky enough to have this large collage 'Dried flowers and house plants' accepted for the RCA Open exhibition this year. This is the most complicated collage I have ever created, with hundreds of tiny pieces creating individual leaves and flowers. The background is painted with acrylic gouache and features shading with inktense pencils. This picture was created from still life of actual house plants and bottles and flowers I own, and I really enjoyed figuring out how to create all of the individual specifc textures for each vessel and each plant texture.
