This large scale piece celebrates evenings with friends. The many different glasses, bottles and mug celebrating unique personalities and tastes coming together. The objects are collaged from acrylic painted papers, onto a gouache painted background on a gorgeous textured cotton paper. Highlights and shading have been added in scribbles on top with derwent inktense pencils, so that when viewed up close there are many multicolours visible, whilst at a distance the scene is simple and striking with the vibrant colours of the acrylic bottles. The whole painting has been finished with a homemade beeswax buff to protect the surface and really make those bottles shine like glass. It has been professionally framed in a dark brown wood with white mount board, that perfectly compliments the brown of the table.
