This painting contains layers of colour, pattern and texture. I used interior paint and acrylic paints, charcoal, collage and soft pastels. It gives me fresh spring feelings, when the ground is not quite warming up outside but the first freen shoots are starting to poke through and any autumn bulb planting efforts become worth it for that first feeling of the growth of the new year.
