This painting uses warm autumnal colours, and evokes that low winter light and strong winds with a sense of whimsy. The horse gazes into the wind at the bird, a friend maybe, who is precarious in the gusts, whilst fluffy white clouds are being blown away in the sky. Layered with interior paints, soft pastels and derwent inktense pencils.
