This painting was made by layering tissue paper to create texture, which appeared just like corals to me under the sea. From there, I added colour with paints and soft pastels to bring the corals to life with detail, and the Fish swimming by. The fish is enhanced with old RSPB magazine articles about under sea creatures for fins and the eye and the pink body is acrylic paint on paper from another project.
