Mixed media painting of different vessels and a Wren.

Painted in the garden on a summers day with friends. I was experimenting using a spray bottle of water to remove and add tranlucent layers of paint, giving the drippy textures I love in the cocktail glass and the pink table cloth. Mainly acrylic,  I also used caran d'ache water soluble wax pastels to add layers of colour to mix with the wet paint. The Wren was added last to complete and balance the compostition and make a line of pots a bit more interesting!
